Heritage Bridge CIO: a charity website and brand built from scratch

Client · Charity · heritagebridge.uk

Heritage Bridge CIO (registered charity 1210336) was founded in 2024 to promote social inclusion, community development and cultural integration across England and Wales. Its focus is on people at risk of exclusion, including migrants, refugees and asylum seekers. We created its brand and built its website.

Our founder is a trustee of Heritage Bridge CIO.

The problem

New charities have a hard start. Funders, partners and volunteers want to see a professional organisation before they commit, but a charity in its first year rarely has the budget for a design agency. When we met Heritage Bridge, it had limited resources and no way to hire a professional design team.

The charity also had a lot to explain. Its work runs from English classes and skills training to cultural events and digital access projects, across many communities. It needed one place where each audience could understand that work and act on it: donors giving, volunteers offering their time and partners getting in touch.

What we did

  • Brand identity (October 2024). A logo, letterhead template, roller banner and event posters, given as an in-kind donation.
  • The website, heritagebridge.uk. Pages for the charity’s story, its work, events and news.
  • A clear way to help. A Get Involved page covering volunteering, donating, partnerships, events, spreading the word and placements.
  • Online donations. A Donate button in the header of every page, linked to a secure PayPal donation page.
  • Enquiries that reach the right person. A contact form where people choose their reason: volunteering, partnership, donation, programme information or a general question.
  • Trust signals up front. The charity number and NCVO membership shown on the site.

The result

Heritage Bridge now has one consistent brand across print and online, and a website that turns interest into donations, volunteers and partnerships. Anyone who picks up a poster or lands on the site sees the same organisation.

Helping a young charity look as credible as it is is part of our work as a CIC. We offer discounted website rates to charities and not-for-profits.
