Smash Original Sauces: a sauce brand website built for trade buyers
Client · Food and drink · 2025 · smashoriginalsauces.com
Smash Original Sauces (SOS) makes exclusive, exotic and vegan sauces, with a UK address in Birmingham and production in Belgium. We designed and built its website in 2025, and we look after its hosting, SSL certificate and domain.
The problem
Smash came to us wanting a modern, easy-to-use website that showed the character of the brand. A sauce maker with a family history and a large range has a story to tell, and a plain template site wouldn’t tell it.
The site also has to serve very different visitors. A distributor looking for new lines, a manufacturer that needs sauce for ready meals, a brand that wants its own recipe made under private label and an overseas buyer all arrive with different questions. Each of them needs to find the right page quickly and get in touch.
What we built
- A design that matches the label. Colours and styling taken from the Smash logo.
- A clear route for each buyer. Separate Distribution, Industry, Private Label and Export pages, plus About Us and Our History pages that tell the family story.
- The full range in one download. A product brochure that trade buyers can save and share.
- Simple enquiries. A contact form, with phone numbers alongside.
- Works on any screen. Fully responsive on phones, tablets and desktops.
- Hosting, SSL and DNS handled for them. Fast UK hosting, an encrypted connection and the domain set up, all managed by us.
We held several planning sessions to understand the brand and its goals, then refined the design over a few rounds guided by the client’s feedback. We wrote about the project in May 2025: A Saucy Success.
The result
Smash Original Sauces has a live site that tells its story and gives every kind of trade buyer a direct way in. The owners don’t have to manage hosting, security certificates or domain settings themselves.
